1000s of people gathered at St.Pauls to attempt to occupy the London Stock Exchange, this failed as the Police completely sealed the area around the exchange, so protestors set up camp as near as possible in the space between the Stock Exchange and St.Pauls Catherdral. Taking inspiration from Occupy Wall Street and protests earlier this year in Egypt and Spain the camp is one response to the growing mess Capitalism and austerity measures are having on the population of the world.

  1. Hi Noel,

I really love the “Expect Us” Occuprint you made for Occuprint.org. I worked on the Occuprint Poster Edition for the OWS Journal, and I also work for a group called Bed-Stuy Organize. We are in solidarity with the Occupy Movement, but focus on the issues facing Bedford-Stuyvesant residents in Brooklyn, NY, ranging from home foreclosure to supporting green spaces.

I noticed you use “police” tape that says “Another World is Possible.” Is that something you designed and created? We would love to use something like that in our Bed-Stuy neighborhood. Would you be wiling to let us know who made it and how we could procure some for our actions?

Thanks so much! And thank you for the wonderful work you are contributing to the movement.

    Solidarity,
    Renée
