World People’s Summit On Climate Change
I was lucky enough to be able to escape the Volcanic Ash cloud that descended on Europe just in time to be a delegate at the 35,000 strong World Peoples Summit on Climate Change and the Rights of Mother Earth in Cochabamba, Bolivia. This amazing event was called by Bolivia’s President Evo Morales to try and build a ‘peoples’ process that could both intervene in the process at COP 16 (the next UN Summit on Climate Change) and build the social movements struggling in different countries to avert Climate Change. There was lots of Art and posters from all sorts of groups in the grounds where the Conference was held, here was some of the things I put up.
